Well here we are, March the 10th, and I am not able to get any work done because I cannot wait until Saturday! I woke up this morning to SNOW, that's right SNOW! The sight of that almost ruined my day right off the bat. I want to be sitting on the hot Florida sun on a beach, not trying to find a warm jacket to put on so I can go out and start my car! But enough complaining about that! Looking forward to this week, Thursday is a date that I am pretty excited about, I head back up to Dr. Grey, my surgeron, to get my throwing schedule. It has been like 5 months since I have been able to throw a baseball, or throw anything for that matter. I am getting all antsy in my pantsy! haha But in the meantime I will get back to work, I just had to put my excitement out there and let everybody know!

Such a long time!
Well Hey Hey!! Sorry cyber world, it has been such a long time since I have stopped by to say hi! I'm sure most of you know, I had Tommy John elbow surgery on November 24th, and have been recovering well from that, so that's definitely a good thing! It is definitely a long and painful process since it is an elbow reconstruction, but the end results will be worth every aching hour of it! But on to the good news about that, I get cleared to start throwing on March 12th, and as soon as I get home from the Dr. I am meeting with my physical therapist and we are going to go throw, I CANT WAIT!!!
Then after two days, I am in FLORIDA!! I am definitely super excited about that! This year will be my second year going to Sarasota with my family, last year was an absolute blast! To be honest, I didn't want to leave and seriously looked at jobs out there. But since the economy was in such a great state last year, there was definitely more firing than hiring going on. One thing that I am super excited about this year is one of my very good friends, Andy is going to come with us! I played baseball with Andy at NJC, and we have remained very good friends since then, so it will be awesome to get to spend a week with him in Sunny Florida with my family and my aunty Pam and two uncles!!
Some other new and exciting things happening with me, I recently bought an Acer One laptop, it is only 8.9 inches big, but is absolutely awesome and was only 300 bucks! It fits Jessica perfectly with her cute little fingers! haha Also yesterday I went and bought MLB 2k9, it is the only game that I will actually pay the 60 bucks for to buy brand new. I always go and buy it on its release date. So last night I spent about 4 hours making my teams, and then finally playing the first game of the season! The gameplay is AWESOME!! They made so many improvements on gameplay and graphics over last years game it is almost unreal!
Also this past Sunday I had quite a scare, woke up to my room under about 1-2 inches of water. I could have prevented this from getting so bad, but of course chose the sleeping route instead. At about 5:30 that morning I thought I heard Jeter (my dog) sloshing in water, but chose to ignore him instead thinking it was a dream. Well 3 hours later I woke up and put my feet on the ground and got welcomed by water. Not the greatest way to start a morning, let me tell you. So I immediately started getting all of my electronics stuff up off the floor!!! The fans are still blowing today, 3 days later, but all is about dry again!
Besides all of this, it is life as normal, work is pretty crazy busy, people trying to decide where they want to go to school, school visits, it is all just a crazy crazy time! But things are great with my girlfriend, Jessica, we spend a lot of time together, and I never get sick of her, it only makes me want to spend more time with her, so that's definitely a great thing!! The family is good, dog is good, so needless to say, i'm good!
